Everything you need to know before you list.
Does it cost anything to list?
No. Listing your land is free but we can only remove the animals for free from toxin-free land and properties over 25ha. Happy Ending handles collection and processing, and pays hunters directly — there’s no cost or admin to you. If your landholding is too small to harvest, we are happy to remove the pests for a competitive fee.
Who comes onto my land?
Only hunters who are identity-verified, firearms-licensed and have passed the MPI humane petfood-harvest compliance test. You set the access hours, exclusion zones and conditions.
What if poison has been used recently?
We capture your poison history at listing and automatically enforce the correct withholding period and exclusion zone — every toxin and animal is different — before any harvest can take place.
What happens to the animals?
We remove the parts that can’t be processed, then freeze, pack and ship to the best processors in the country. We’re trying to slow the amount of low quality protein (60% of all pet-food is imported) by growing the wild game supply. Good for the planet, bio-diversity and the pocket.
Can I set which species are managed?
Yes. You choose the target species for your property, and hunters only harvest within your declaration and terms.
